The award, which requires a 3.5 cumulative GPA through the Fall 2012 semester, is one of the highest academic requirements among collegiate athletics for recognition.

Mariana Alvarado (Leon, Mexico), Megan Buja (Rockford, Ill.), Valentina Collazos (Cali, Colombia), T'nia Falbo (Greensburg, Pa.), Kristie Lopez (Ponce, Puerto Rico), Tatiana Munoz (Ibague Tolima, Colombia) and Anggie Ramirez (Bogota, Colombia) all earned the award.
