Food Delivery Driver Robbed in Salisbury

SALISBURY, Md.- Authorities are looking for two armed suspects who held up a food delivery driver on a Salisbury street late Tuesday night.

Salisbury police said that at around 11:40 p.m., the suspects met the victim at his vehicle while it was parked in front of a home on the 100 block of Union Avenue. The suspects then displayed weapons and stole food, cash and the victim's wallet. One of the suspects then disabled the victim's vehicle by puncturing several tires on his vehicle. Both suspects then ran away.

Detectives responded to the scene and a K-9 Unit from the Wicomico County Sheriff's Office responded to conduct a track for the suspects. The suspects were not located.\

According to police, the suspects were described as follows:

  • Black male, approximately 20 years of age, 5-foot-8, 150 pounds, wearing a black bandana on his head, white and black striped polo style shirt and in possession of a knife.
  • Black male, approximately 20 years of age, short hair, 5-foot-4, stocky build, wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt and in possession of a dark handgun.             

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact the Salisbury Police Department at (410) 548-3165 or Crime Solvers at (410) 548-1776. Crime Solvers will pay up to $1,000 for tips that lead to an arrest or arrests.
