Suspects Sought in Dover Holdup

DOVER, Del.- Dover police are looking for a group of suspects wanted for robbing a man on a city street early Friday. 

According to police, at around 3:30 a.m. the 38-year-old victim was on the unit block of Pennsylvania Avenue when he was approached by three unknown suspects, one of whom stated he had a gun. Investigators said the suspects demanded money from the victim, and after receiving an undetermined amount of cash, fled in a white Lincoln Town Car with very large chrome rims.

Police said the suspects were described as follows:

  • Suspect #1: Black male, 6-foot-tall, slim build, and wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt
  • Suspect #2: Black male, between 6-foot-2 and 6-foot-3, slim build, and wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans
  • Suspect #3: Black male, 5-foot-7, large build, and wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans
