Beebee Building New Facility in Georgetown

Posted:

GEORGETOWN, De.- Beebee Medical Center's new medical pavilion in Georgetown is starting to take shape.

Hospital officials say construction at the new facility site is on schedule, with an opening expected before the end of the year. The Georgetown pavilion will offer primary care, walk-in care, physical therapy and imaging services. For emergency care, officials say you still need to visit a full-service hospital.

"This location in particular is dead center in the county," says Beebee VP of External Affairs Alex Syndor. "Really our goal is to provide care within 20 minutes for everyone in Sussex County."

In addition to the construction jobs, Syndor says at least 25 new medical jobs will open up at the new Georgetown location.
