UMd. Police: Student Found Dead in Dorm

COLLEGE PARK, Md. (AP)- University of Maryland police say a student has been found dead in a dormitory and it appears her death was accidental.

Police say the woman was found unresponsive Monday afternoon in Kent Hall on the College Park campus and when officers arrived, they determined she was dead.

Detectives are investigating the woman's death, but police say it appears she died as the result of an accident. They say there is no sign of foul play or a suicide attempt.

The woman's family has been notified of her death, but her name has not been released.
