SALISBURY, Md.- Salisbury police are searching for two suspects who held up a gas station late Monday night.

Police said that shortly before 11 p.m., officers responded to a reported armed robbery that had just occurred at the Pure Gas station at 1111 N. Salisbury Blvd. According to police, the investigation revealed that two masked men entered the business and demanded money at gunpoint. Investigators said the suspects stole multiple cartons of cigarettes and an undisclosed amount of currency from the business, as well as several items of personal property from a store employee.

The suspects assaulted the store employee during the robbery and then fled the business on foot. The employee was later taken to Peninsula Regional Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries and released.

Police described the suspects as follows:

  • The first suspect was a white male with stocky build, approximately 5-foot-9, wearing a black ski mask, black/dark hooded sweatshirt with a white T-shirt underneath, black gloves, blue jeans and black sneakers. He was armed with a silver handgun.
  • The second suspect is described as a male with a light complexion, thin build, approximately 6-foot-tall, wearing a black ski mask, black/dark hooded sweatshirt, black gloves, blue jeans, and black sneakers with white trim on the bottom. He was armed with a black handgun.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact the Salisbury Police Department at (410) 548-3165 or Crime Solvers at (410) 548-1776. Crime Solvers routinely pays cash rewards in amounts up to $1,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
