DOVER, Del. (AP)- Delaware Gov. Jack Markell is in Pennsylvania touting his initiative as chairman of the National Governors Association to improve employment opportunities for the disabled.

Markell joined Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Corbett in Pittsburgh on Thursday to co-host Pittsburgh Institute on Employing People with Disabilities.

As his chairman's initiative during his 1-year term leading the NGA, Markell has chosen to focus on how state governments and businesses can work together to improve opportunities for individuals with disabilities to be gainfully employed.

In addition to his 2-day visit to Pennsylvania, Markell will be traveling to similar meeting in Seattle later this month in advance of the NGA's annual meeting in Wisconsin this summer.
