One of Wicomico County's Most Wanted Captured

SALISBURY, Md.- A Salisbury man who has been on the Wicomico County Sheriff's Office's most wanted list since early last year is now in custody.

The Sheriff's Office reports that on Tuesday deputies traveled to Charlotte, N.C , or the purpose of extraditing 27-year-old Shawn Lee Brown back to Wicomico County.

Brown had been a wanted fugitive since March 2012 and was wanted on several warrants, according to police. Police said that two of the warrants were related to distribution of controlled dangerous substance case, one involved counterfeit currency, while two were for child support non-compliance.

Brown is now being held without bond in the Wicomico County Detention Center.
