Dover Man Arrested for Bomb Threat

DOVER, Del.- Capitol Police have arrested a man accused of walking into the Attorney General's Office on West Water Street in Dover and claiming there was a bomb inside the building.

Tyrone Hopkins, 47, of Dover, is charged with terroristic threatening.

Police said that after Hopkins made the threat on Wednesday, the building was evacuated. A canine search of the building by Capitol police and Dover police resulted in an all-clear.

Hopkins was arrested at his home later that day and charged with the aforementioned offense. He received $2,000 unsecured bail and was issued no contact order with the Dover Attorney General's Office.
