BATON ROUGE, LA — Navy junior men's golfer Chris House (Raleigh, N.C.) closed out his season on Saturday at the 2013 NCAA Men's Golf Regional held in Baton Rouge, La., where he tied for 72nd with a 26-over par 242. House was one of 10 individuals and 13 teams who competed at the 54-hole tournament played over the last three days at the par-72 University Club of Baton Rouge.
House opened the tournament with an 8-over par 80 on Thursday, followed up with an 11-over par 83 on Friday and turned in his low round over the final 18 holes of play with a 7-over par 79.
House qualified for the 2013 NCAA Men's Golf Regional by way of taking medalist honors at the 2013 Patriot League Championship on April 28 where he claimed the title with a 3-over par 219.
Alabama (296-290-282=868) won the Baton Rouge Regional after
turning in a 4-over par 868, edging out second-place Florida
(286-292-296=874) by six strokes. Alabama and Florida will move on to
the NCAA Championship layed at The Capital City Club in Atlanta, Ga. (May 28-June 2),
as will LSU (303-294-293=890), Tennessee (300-304-288=892) and Coastal
Carolina (302-295-297=894) who finished third, fourth and fifth,
