MAGNOLIA, Del. (WBOC/AP)- Delaware State Police say a New Jersey woman has died of injuries sustained in a two-car crash south of Magnolia.

Troopers said 75-year-old Margaret Plunkett of Hackensack was driving a Toyota Camry west on Mulberrie Point Road at about 2 p.m. Thursday. Troopers said her Saab 93 entered the northbound lanes of Bay Road when the vehicle was hit by a car driven by 18-year-old Meaghan D. Fitts of Wilmington, Del.

Police said Fitts' car hit Plunkett's on the driver's side.

Authorities say Plunkett was taken to Christiana Medical Center, where she died that evening. Fitts was taken to Kent General Hospital where she was treated for non-life-threatening injuries and released.

The accident remains under investigation.
