MILFORD, Del.- Police have arrested a 59-year-old Milford man accused of sexually soliciting two 4-year-old boys.

Milford police said that on Monday evening, officers responded to Brightway Commons Apartment Complex (formerly known as Banneker Heights) after receiving a call about an adult male suspect attempting to lure children into nearby bushes in order to have them commit sexual acts with him.

Police said that when officers contacted the suspect, identified as Leslie A. Nickelson, and tried to arrest him, he resisted them. Officers then utilized pepper spray on Nickelson and took him into custody.

According to police, the ensuing investigation determined that Nickelson had attempted to lure two 4-year-old boys into isolated areas alone for sexual acts in exchange for giving the children money.

Nickelson was charged with two counts of sexual solicitation of a child under 18, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct. He was ordered held in default of $10,600 secured bond.
