Outages, Trees Down Reported Across Delmarva After Storms

UNDATED- Officials are reporting power outages and trees down across Delmarva after a line of heavy thunderstorms coming from the Midwest moved through late Thursday afternoon.
 
Delmarva Power, Choptank Electric Cooperative and Delaware Electric Cooperative are reporting numerous outages in their service areas.

The Delaware Department of Transportation is also reporting dozens of storm-related road hazards across the First State, including dark signals and trees down.

On the Eastern Shore of Maryland, fallen trees due to wind and lightning strikes have been reported in several counties, including Dorchester, Somerset and Wicomico.

The damage comes from a collection of storms that left tens of thousands without power in the Midwest.
