STEVENSVILLE, Md.- Due to today's continued inclement weather, two-way operations (in which one lane of eastbound traffic is directed to the westbound span) will not be in effect this afternoon on the Chesapeake Bay Bridge, according to the Maryland Transportation Authority.

Drivers are advised to expect delays during this afternoon's rush hour period. Officials said they will continue to monitor weather conditions and will implement two-way operations if possible and if needed.

Wind restrictions may be implemented on the bridge if necessary, according to the MDTA.

Call 1-877-BAYSPAN (229-7726) for around-the-clock updates on Bay Bridge traffic conditions. For Statewide traffic conditions, visit md511.org.
