CAMDEN, Del.- Delaware State Police detectives have arrested a Camden-Wyoming man accused of raping a 15-year-old girl.

Jason S. Anker, 32, was taken into custody Monday and charged with first-degree rape, 21 counts of fourth-degree rape and first-degree unlawful sexual contact.

Police said Anker's arrest stemmed from an investigation that got under way on April 30, when the victim, who is now 21, came forward and disclosed to detectives about a past relationship she had with him.

According to police, the investigation revealed that Anker would pick up the victim and her two siblings from their home in New Castle County and bring them back to his house in Camden-Wyoming where he would care and supervise them for various weekends starting back in October of 2008. Investigators said that during that time, Anker began committing lewd acts with the then 15-year-old victim, which then led to an intimate relationship that lasted until she was 17.

On Monday, June 17, 2013, detectives executed a search warrant at Anker's home on Wynn Wood Circle. Authorities said a plethora of teen-based pornography was located and seized along with several computers. Anker was not at the house during the search, but was later taken into custody and transported back to Troop 3 where he was arraigned on the aforementioned charges. He was ordered held on $265,000.00 secured bond and to have no contact with any children under the age of 18.

Because of the sensitivity of this case, and in consideration of the victim, only limited information will be released.
