WILMINGTON, Del. (AP) - Wilmington police have arrested two men on weapons charges after their SUV's squealing tires attracted officers' attention.

Two patrol officers heard the squealing of an SUV's tires about 11:10 p.m. Wednesday. Police say the vehicle then tried to fit into a too-small parking space. Upon checking the SUV, officers say they found a loaded silver .38-caliber revolver, which had been reported stolen

Twenty-seven-year-old Corey Lewis of New Castle and 27-year-old Marvin Smith of Wilmington were both charged with receiving a stolen firearm. Lewis was also charged with accelerate to cause wheels to slip or spin and other traffic offenses.
