6 Fatally Shot Over Weekend in Baltimore

BALTIMORE (AP) - Baltimore police say six people have died in recent shootings around the city.

The most recent shooting occurred around 4:40 a.m. Sunday. Police say they arrived to find a man dead of a gunshot wound on a northwest Baltimore street.

Shortly before midnight Saturday, a man and a woman were found shot on Pennsylvania Avenue in west Baltimore. Both were taken to hospitals, where they died. A man was also killed in a shooting inside an east Baltimore residence Saturday night.

Two others were killed in shootings earlier Saturday, including an incident early Saturday morning in which five people were shot. A 19-year-old woman died.

Police have made no arrests in any of the violence.
