NANTICOKE, Md.- A Nanticoke, Md., man will spend 37 years behind bars for a series of burglaries that occurred Wicomico County over a six-month period, authorities announced Wednesday.

According to the Wicomico County State's Attorney's Office, earlier this month 26-year-old Michael J. Tingle entered a guilty pleas in 10 first-degree burglary cases and one attempted first-degree burglary case. Prosecutors said the guilty pleas stemmed from a string of residential burglaries throughout Wicomico County that he committed from August 2012 to January 2013.

A Wicomico County Circuit Court judge sentenced Tingle to 130 years in the Division of Corrections, with all but 37 years suspended, and three years of supervised probation upon release.  Tingle was also ordered to pay restitution to the victims upon release from prison as a condition of his probation.
