DOVER, Del.- Police have arrested a Dover man accused of kidnapping his 2-year-old baby from the child's mother.

Kyron Graham, 22, is charged with first-degree kidnapping, home invasion, strangulation and criminal mischief.

Dover police said Graham's arrest stemmed from an incident that occurred shortly before 8 a.m. Sunday, when he forced his way inside the victim's home on the 200 block of West Loockerman St.

Investigators said that once inside, Graham choked the 21-year-old victim and then took their child from her custody. Graham allegedly told the victim that she would not see their child again and fled the home, police said.

Police said that shortly after an Amber Alert was issued, Graham dropped the child off at a relative's house. The child was returned to the mother unharmed.

Warrants were obtained for Graham, who turned himself in to police on Monday.

Following his arrest on the aforementioned charges, Graham was ordered held in default of $58,000 cash bond.
