BRIDGEVILLE, Del.- Delaware State Police in Bridgeville are asking the public's help in locating a Federalsburg, Md., man wanted on identity theft and related charges.

Troopers said 31-year-old Frederick F. Kirsch III is sought in connection with an investigation that got under way on June 19, when a 74-year-old male victim responded to Troop 5 in Bridgeville to report some checks that had gone missing from his Federalsburg home were used at the Food Lion in Bridgeville and Seaford, Del.

Police said a further investigation revealed the victim's grandson, identified as Kirsch, and the victim's granddaughter, 23-year-old Brittany A. Moore of Blades, Del., had cashed six checks totaling more than $300 by signing the victim's name.

Moore was arrested Monday, July 1, and charged with six counts of identity theft, six counts of theft under $1,500 where the victim is over 62 and six counts of second-degree forgery. She is being held on $6,000 cash bail.

Kirsch is wanted on the same charges as Moore. Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to contact Troop 5 at (302) 337-1090 or by utilizing the DSP Mobile Crime Tip Application available to download at: http://www.delaware.gov/apps/.  Information may also be provided by calling Delaware Crime Stoppers at 1-800-TIP-3333, via www.tipsubmit.com, or by sending an anonymous tip by text to 274637 (CRIMES) using the keyword "DSP."
