Girl, 1, After Balcony Fall Is Expected To Live

REHOBOTH BEACH, Del.- Delaware State Police say a 1-year-old girl had to be airlifted to a local hospital for injuries she sustained from falling off a two story balcony in Rehoboth Beach. According to state police she is expected to live.

Rehoboth Beach police said the incident occurred in the North Shores community at around 12:30 p.m. Friday. According to investigators, the child landed directly on concrete or asphalt. Her exact condition is unknown at this time.

Police have also not released the victim's name or provided any other details about the circumstances that led to the fall.
