Ravens Cheerleader Killed in Md. Motorcycle Crash

Posted: Updated:

FREDERICK, Md. (AP)- Maryland State Police say a Baltimore Ravens cheerleader was killed in a motorcycle crash on U.S. 15.

Authorities said that 27-year-old Dion Bagby of Vienna, Va., was driving to Camp Woodward in Pennsylvania on Friday morning when he collided with a 2012 Volkswagen Jetta that was turning left.

Bagby was a cheerleading coach for Infinity All Stars. The Virginia-based cheerleading and dance team says he had also recently tried out for the Baltimore Ravens' co-ed cheerleading squad, made the team and was set to start his first season with the NFL squad this fall. He was originally from Oklahoma.

The driver of the Volkswagen was not seriously injured.

The accident remains under investigation.
