FELTON, Del.– Authorities say a Felton man was charged with his sixth DUI after he crashed his pickup truck Saturday night.

Delaware State Police said 51-year-old Vincent Y. Ware Jr. was driving his 2001 Ford F-150 north on Turkey Point Road when the pickup swerved off the left side of the road and struck a ditch.

Ware was ejected from his truck and taken to Kent General Hospital for minor injuries.

In addition to his sixth DUI, Ware is charged with failure to have insurance identification in possession, careless driving, and failure to wear a seatbelt.

Ware is being held in the James T. Vaughn Correctional Center on $10,003 cash bail.
