FREDERICK, Md. (AP) - Public health officials say two foxes in Thurmont have tested positive for rabies.
The Frederick County Health Department said Thursday that one of the foxes attacked a man on July 4; the second was in a fight with dogs on July 8.
These foxes are the 25th and 26th animals from Frederick County that have tested positive for rabies this year.
Officials say if residents see an animal acting abnormally, avoid contact and call Animal Control at 301-600-1544.
