Suspect Sought in West O.C. Bank Robbery

WEST OCEAN CITY, Md.- Maryland State Police are asking the public's help in identifying a suspect wanted in connection with the Tuesday morning robbery of the PNC Bank on Route 50 in West Ocean City.

Police said the crime occurred shortly after 9 a.m. when a male suspect entered the bank and demanded money from the teller. Troopers said that when the suspect was not given any cash, he fled the scene.

No weapon was displayed during the robbery and there no reported injuries, troopers said.

The suspect is described as white, short dark cropped hair, wearing dark rimmed glasses, a green sleeveless shirt and tattoos on both arms.

Anyone with additional information about this incident or can identify the suspect is asked to call the MSP Berlin Barrack at (410) 641-3259 or Crime Solvers at (410) 548-1776. Crime Solvers is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for the arrest of the suspect.
