Woman Raped in Dover Home Invasion

DOVER, Del.- Police are investigating the rape of a woman during a home invasion that occurred over the weekend in Dover.

Dover police said that at around 3 a.m. Saturday, a female victim was confronted by two male suspects with guns, as she was arriving to her home on the 500 block of North West Street. Investigators said the suspects entered the home and gathered all of its occupants into one room where they repeatedly asked where the money was located.

Police said that one of the suspects then took a 21-year-old female victim inside a bedroom and raped her. Both suspects then fled the home.

According to police, the two suspects were described as follows:

  • Suspect 1: Black male, 30-35 years of age, gold teeth, tall, thin and wearing dark clothing.
  • Suspect 2: Black male, short stocky build, 5-foot-7, green eyes and wearing dark clothing.
