RICHMOND, Va. - Alfred Morris is best known for 1,613 yards and a 22-year-old car.
Morris set the Washington Redskins franchise rushing record last year as a rookie sixth-round draft pick from Florida Atlantic. Only Adrian Peterson ran for more yards in the NFL.
With the Redskins, Morris is squarely No. 2 - as in second banana to Robert Griffin III. It's a role that's perfect for Morris, who doesn't seek the limelight.
Morris still drives a 1991 Mazda, which he calls "Bentley." The car has received so much publicity that Mazda is fixing it up. Morris says he hopes he can drive it for another 20 years.
