Sources: Cracker Barrel Coming to Salisbury

Updated:

SALISBURY, Md.- There will soon be another restaurant option in Salisbury.

Crews continue to tear down what is left of the former Zia's Italian Grill on North Salisbury Boulevard. However, the lot will not sit empty for long.

Real estate sources close to the land deal say a Cracker Barrel is slated to go up on the former Zia's site. Right now, there is no timeline for construction.

Zia's closed earlier this year after 22 years, when ironically, its owners felt they could not compete with chain restaurants in Salisbury.
