Salisbury Police Seek Theft Suspect

SALISBURY, Md.- Salisbury police are asking the public's help in identifying a suspect accused of shoplifting numerous items from the Giant Food supermarket on South Salisbury Boulevard.

Police said the incident happened shortly after 3 p.m. Thursday, when the suspect placed numerous items inside a grocery cart and exited the store without rendering payment. When a loss prevention employee made contact with the suspect, she left the grocery cart and fled the area on foot.

Officers obtained a photograph of the suspect from the surveillance video inside the business.  The suspect is described as a white female, 20 –25 years of age, thin build, brown hair and 
wearing a Baltimore Ravens hooded sweatshirt.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked contact the Salisbury Police Department at (410) 548-3165 or Crime Solvers at (410) 548-1776. Crime Solvers will pay up to $1,000 for tips that lead to an arrest.
