AG Beau Biden Back in Del. after Medical Tests in Texas

DOVER, Del. (WBOC/AP) - Delaware Attorney General Beau Biden is back in the First State after undergoing medical tests in Texas.

Beau and his family, including his father, Vice President Joe Biden, landed in Air Force Two at the New Castle County Airport around 3 p.m. Thursday. The family got back to Joe Biden's house just before 4 p.m.

The Biden's have been communicating with the public through news releases and Twitter posts. The tweets have maintained an upbeat tone.

Thursday morning before leaving Houston Beau tweeted: "On our way home! Can't wait to get back. Thank you, Houston."

The post came with this photo of Beau with this wife and the vice president with his wife.
Beau was at a cancer hospital in Houston for tests. His office says Delaware's AG felt weak and disoriented after a long drive last week. He saw doctors in Chicago and Philadelphia before heading to Texas.

Wednesday the White House said Beau had undergone a "successful procedure" and would follow up with his local physicians. The statement didn't elaborate on either of those items.

NBC News has been reporting Beau has a mass on his brain. His office is not commenting on that report.

Beau suffered a minor stroke in 2010.

The Department of Justice says Beau has been in contact with his deputies. There is no yet word on when he'll be returning to work.
