GLASGOW, Del. (WBOC/AP)- Delaware State Police say a trooper was injured in a crash after a shoplifting incident at a Glasgow home improvement store.

A security guard spotted a group of men running from the Home Depot, 2000 Peoples Plaza, with shopping carts Sunday night and a fleeing van later crashed with a trooper's cruiser on Interstate 95.

Police spokesman Cpl. John Day says four suspects were captured nearby, but one remains at large. Day says the injured trooper was taken Christiana Hospital for treatment of minor injuries and released. There the four suspects in custody were also taken to Christian Hospital where two were treated for minor injuries and released. Two remain hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.

The incident restricted traffic on I-95 for hours but all lanes have reopened.
