Suspect Sought in Dover Guitar Heist

DOVER, Del.- Delaware State Police are looking for a suspect wanted for stealing a $1,500 guitar from a Dover music store.

The crime allegedly occurred on Aug. 14 at the Earle Teat Music store at 3098 North DuPont Highway, when the suspect began looking at guitars on the wall. Troopers said that while the store employee was helping another customer, the suspect grabbed a Gibson electric guitar and fled the store.

Police said that as the employee ran toward the door after hearing the alarm, he saw the suspect fleeing in a white SUV northbound on U.S. Route 13.

The suspect was described as a white male, between 5-foot-5 and 5-foot-6, large build, and wearing a blue shirt and blue jeans.
