Laser Light Show Ends Summer in Ocean City

Posted:

OCEAN CITY, Md.- Ocean City residents will have their summer ending on a "bright" note.

A free laser light show is scheduled for Sunday, Sept. 1, on the beach at North Division Street. The grand finale will feature a five-story tall inflatable sphere with visual laser, lighting, special effects, and video and audio production, all located along the Boardwalk. Residents and visitors can also watch an additional show on Saturday night.

Ocean City Mayor Rick Meehan noted that the shows are currently presented every week.

"The laser light shows have grown into one of the most popular events that we offer," Meehan said.

The shows are approximately eight minutes in length and will begin at 9:30 p.m., 10 p.m. and 10:30 p.m.
