Del. Police: Woman Raped at Smyrna Farm

SMYRNA, Del. (AP) - Authorities say a man broke into a woman's room at a farm near Smyrna and raped her at knifepoint.

Delaware State Police say the woman was asleep in her room at the worker camp at the farm early Sunday when a man forced his way into her room with a knife. Police say the man held the blade to her neck demanding sex and the woman was forced to comply.

Police say the description of the man led investigators to 47-year-old Felix Sanchez, who lived in a room next to the woman. Sanchez was arrested and charged with two counts of rape, home invasion, assault, theft and other charges.

The woman was taken to an area hospital where she was treated and released.
