Del. Man Charged With Dealing in Child Porn

Posted:

MIDDLETOWN, Del.- The Delaware Attorney General's Office says a Kent County man has been charged with dealing in child pornography.

Authorities said an online undercover investigation by Delaware Child Predator Task Force detectives identified a subject who had been using the Internet to sexually solicit minors.  Investigators said that person of interest was identified as 63-year-old Paul Nonne. On Aug. 29, a search warrant at Nonne's home on Whitetail Run in Kenton was executed by members of the Child Predator Task Force.

Investigators said that during the search, multiple computers and other digital media were seized and an initial forensic examination of the seized evidence recovered multiple images of child pornography.

Based on the ongoing investigation, detectives obtained another search warrant for Nonne's work space at his place of employment, a Wilmington company. Authorities said that search warrant was executed on Aug. 29 with the assistance of company officials and recovered evidence including multiple USB thumb drive memory devices. A forensic examination of the evidence revealed numerous images of child pornography, investigators said.

As a result of the investigation, Nonne was arrested on Aug. 29 and charged with 12 counts of dealing in child pornography.  He was ordered held in the James T. Vaughn Correctional Center in lieu of $600,000 secured bail.
