Dover Convenience Store Robbed at Gunpoint

DOVER, Del.- Delaware State Police are looking for an armed suspect who held up the Shore Stop convenience store on South DuPont Highway in Dover.

Police said the incident occurred at around 10:41 p.m. Sunday, when a male suspect entered the Shore Stop and pointed a handgun at an 18-year-old male cashier and demanded money. The employee complied and handed over an undisclosed amount of cash before the suspect fled from the store in a northwest direction.
 
No one was injured during this incident, police said.

According to investigators, the suspect was described as black, between 5-foot-9 and 6-foot-tall, 145-160 pounds, and was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, dark pants and a white mask partially covering his face.
