Motorcycle Crash Claims Life of Dover Man

DOVER, Del.- Dover police say a 40-year-old man has died from injuries he sustained in a motorcycle crash that occurred over the weekend.

The incident happened at around 8:45 a.m. Saturday. Police said 40-year-old Jermel Alston of Dover was traveling southbound on U.S. 13 south of Whiteoak Road at a high speed when his 2006 Kawasaki 1400 crashed into the back of a car.

Alston sustained multiple internal injuries and later died as a result of the crash.
