Land Conservation Workshop to be Held in Millsboro

MILLSBORO, Del.- Landowners in Sussex County are invited to attend a free land conservation workshop scheduled for next week in Millsboro.

The workshop, which will be held 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 24 at the Cordrey Center at the East Coast Garden Center, at 30366 Cordrey Road, is sponsored by Delaware Wild Lands, the Delaware Nature Society, and the Delaware Center for Inland Bays. Other conservation organizations will also be in attendance to talk to attendees about their programs and answer questions.

Topics under discussion will include voluntary land conservation options and the financial benefits of conserving land. The workshop will also provide information about organizations and programs that can help landowners, conserve and restore their lands.
