Transportation Officials Warn Drivers Ahead of Sunfest Weekend

BAY BRIDGE, Md. – The Maryland Transportation Authority is urging commuters to drive during off-peak hours this weekend because of Sunfest in Ocean City.

Off-peak hours are Friday and Sunday before 10 a.m. and after 10 p.m., and Saturday before 7 a.m. and after 5 p.m.

This is the 39th Sunfest event. The festival includes food, arts and crafts, hayrides and musical entertainment. The Beach Boys are scheduled to perform Saturday night.
