Hurlock Man Arrested for Attempted Break-in

HURLOCK, Md.- Hurlock police have arrested a man accused of attempting to break into a house on Tuesday.

Police responded to a call at 11:35 p.m. from a home on Miles Circle. Investigators said 46-year-old Olivio Juarez had attempted to open a window at the back of the home. When troops arrived, officers said they discovered Juarez crouched in the grass at the back of the home.

Police said the homeowner yelled to Juarez and then called 9-1-1.

According to police, Juarez fled the area and was found at his house on Jackson Street where he lived. While under arrest, authorities said Juarez showed officers a U.S. permanent resident card that was found to be fraudulent.

Investigators said there was an outstanding bench warrant for Juarez for failure to appear in court.

Juarez was charged with attempted breaking and entering and possession of a fraudulent document. He was jailed on $12,500 bond awaiting trial.
