SALISBURY, Md. – Salisbury police have arrested two juveniles believed to be responsible for breaking the locks off of two bicycles and stealing them.

Police said that at around 6 p.m. Sept. 15, two bicycles were reported as stolen in the area of 1415 University Terrace. Police said the investigation revealed that the owner one of the bicycles observed one of the suspects riding his bicycle away from the area. The owner followed the suspects to the Royal Farms store located on South Division Street.

Police said at this location, the owner confronted the suspect and took possession of his bicycle. Images from the surveillance video captures the suspects leaving the area on two stolen bicycles. Both bicycles had been secured with a lock but were cut by the suspects.

One suspect, a 15-year-old Salisbury boy, was charged with theft of less than $1,000 and theft of $100. He was released to his guardian. The second suspect, also a 15-year-old Salisbury boy, was charged with theft less than $100. He was also released to his guardian.
