2 Arrested on Drug Charges After Bridgeville Raid

BRIDGEVILLE, Del.- Delaware State Police say two women are facing drug and related charges after a raid on a Bridgeville home led to the seizure of heroin and marijuana.

Troopers with the Sussex County Drug Task Force raided the home on the 12000 block of Ryan Lane at around 6 a.m. Monday. Police said they seized 215 bags of heroin weighing a total of 3.2 grams, and 3.7 grams of marijuana. Police said two children were found in the home and turned over to relatives.

Twenty-four-year-old Shamika T. Clark and 30-year-old Jennifer L. Frederick have been charged with possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance (heroin), possession with intent to deliver marijuana, possession of a controlled substance (heroin), second-degree conspiracy, two counts of endangering the welfare of a child and four counts of drug paraphernalia.

Clark and Frederick were ordered held in the Sussex Correctional Institution on $14,000 and $14,800 secured bonds respectively.
