SALISBURY, Md.- A man is recovering from injuries after a neighbor pulled him from a burning vehicle.

The Salisbury Fire Department says it happened just before midnight Tuesday on Mt. Hermon Church Road. Fire crews rushed to the scene to put out the blaze.

A witness, David McWilliams, said he rushed outside after hearing a loud noise. That is when he said he pulled the driver from the car just before it went up in flames.

Salisbury Fire Department crews said the driver was taken to the hospital. There is no word yet on his condition.

The incident remains under investigation.
