HEBRON, Md.- Detectives with the Wicomico Bureau of Investigation are looking for a suspect who held up the Shore Stop convenience store on Route 50 in Hebron early Friday morning.

According to investigators, at around 1:26 a.m. a lone male suspect entered the store armed with a handgun and ordered the female clerk to give him the money from the register. He also stole other items from the store before fleeing, police said. There were no reported injuries.

The suspect is described above 6-feet-tall, wearing a blue toboggan style hat, a black shirt or coat pulled high and covering his neck and face, white gloves, black pants and bright all white sneakers.

Detectives do not believe this incident is related to another robbery that occurred earlier this week at a Shore Stop in Pittsville.

Anyone with additional information about this incident is asked to contact the WBI at (410) 548-4898 or Crime Solvers at (410) 548-1776.
