WILMINGTON, Del.- A Georgetown man has been sentenced to 28 years in prison after pleading guilty Friday to dealing child porn.

The Delaware Attorney General's Office said 70-year-old David Pennington was one of three men who were part of a child pornography distribution ring in Sussex County. The Child Predator Task Force first arrested Pennington in January following an investigation. Authorities said he had three prior convictions for sex crimes against children.

Pennington was charged in March with two counts of distribution of child pornography, of which he pleaded guilty to on Friday.

Also arrested in January were Rogelio Cordero of New Castle and William D. Zimmerman of Georgetown, both of whom have been charged with federal child pornography offenses. Those charges are pending.
