Two Armed Robberies In Wicomico County

Posted:

PARSONSBURG, Md. – The Wicomico Bureau of Investigation is looking into two armed robberies, believed to be related, that happened Monday morning.

The first happened at the Parsonsburg Quik Stop at 7:54 a.m. The second happened a half hour later at Vintage Beverage on Snowhill Road.

At the Quik Stop, investigators say a lone male went into the store, showed a knife, and demanded money. Officials say the clerk reached below the counter, and the suspect fled, thinking the clerk triggered an alarm.

At Vintage Beverage, a similar scenario. Investigators say a lone male went into the store with a knife, demanded money, and in this case got away with an unknown amount of cash.

Both cases are linked. A gold four door sedan was spotted at both scenes.

The suspect is described as having a stocky build, wearing a gray hoodie, dark jeans, black shoes, and believed to be carrying a kitchen steak knife.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Wicomico Bureau of Investigation at 410-548-4898 or Crime Solvers 410-548-1776.
