SALISBURY, Md. – The man
accused of killing a mother and shooting her two teenage daughters pleaded
guilty to those crimes Friday morning.
Lyons pleaded guilty to all 20 counts in fatally shooting Lakisha Jackson, 39. Those
counts included first-degree murder, attempted murder, and weapons charges.
Nov. 27, 2012, Lyons shot Lakisha Jackson to death at a Jersey Road home in
Salisbury. He also shot her two teenage daughters, Tyisha and Nicole Jackson.
say Nicole Jackson was 8-months pregnant at the time with Lyons's child, and
later gave birth to a healthy baby.
say Lyons shot Nicole in the chest, stabbed her in the face, and shot her
sister, Tyisha, twice in the back.
then locked herself and three children in a bedroom in the home. Wicomico
County deputies helped a 10-year-old boy, his two-month-old niece and his
four-year-old nephew escape from the second-story bedroom window.
