NORFOLK, Va. (AP)- Public tours have resumed at Naval Station Norfolk.
The installation began offering 45-minute non-stop tours again on Saturday. The tours were suspended on Oct. 7 because of the partial federal government shutdown.
Naval Station Norfolk says visitors can see aircraft carriers, destroyers, frigates, amphibious ships and the airfield, along with historic homes from the 1907 Jamestown Exposition.
The tours cost $10 for adults and $5 for children ages 3 to 11 and seniors 60 years and older. Adults must have a photo ID.
