Teen Arrested for Underage Drinking and Obstructing Justice
Salisbury, Md. - Police arrested a Rockville teenager for underage drinking and obstructing justice.
Early Sunday morning, officers responded to the area of Camden Avenue and Pine Bluff Road to investigate a report of a stolen stop sign.
During their investigation, a sheriff's deputy noticed a large party going on with more than 200 people. That's when deputies said they called for assistance from Maryland State Police, Salisbury Police and Fruitland Police.
Authorities said while they were on the scene, Michael John Feeney told investigators he lived at the home where the party was taking place.
Investigators said they told Feeney to speak with deputies outside of the home who were investigating the initial report of theft. According to police, that's when the 19-year-old ran off towards Camden Avenue, but he was eventually detained by officers.
Feeney was placed under arrest and transported to the Central Booking Unit. A District Court Commissioner detained Feeney in lieu of $25,000 bond.
