MILFORD, Del.- Police on Tuesday arrested two Milford women accused of attacking and robbing another woman early last month.
Milford police said the incident occurred at 10:45 p.m. Sept. 12 on the 100 block of Lovers Lane. Police said Tiffany Gainey, 24, and Orlandra Burris, 32, both of Milford received a ride from a 22-year-old Felton woman. Police said while the woman parked her car, one of the suspects left to get something from a nearby home, while the other suspect assaulted the driver and forced her to give her all of her money.
Gainey and Burris then fled the scene on foot, police said.
Gainey and Burris were charged with first-degree robbery, aggravated menacing, second-degree conspiracy and offensive touching. Gainey was additionally charged with possession of a deadly weapon. She was held at the Baylor Women's Correctional Facility in default of $23,500 cash only bond.
Burris was also held at the Baylor Women's Correctional Facility in default of $13,500 cash only bond. Both were also issued a no-contact order with the alleged victim.
